HYACINT is Fleir`s luxury Hungarian grey goose down pillow, individually handcrafted to order using carefully selected original Hungarian grey goose down. Its naturally soft, airy and resilient filling provides exceptional comfort and gentle support for restful sleep.
Encased in a down-proof shell made from 100% combed cotton with a twill weave, HYACINT combines traditional craftsmanship with premium natural materials. The pillow comes with medium filling firmness as standard and is available in European and US sizes. Both the pillow size and filling firmness can be individually customised upon special request.
Our products are made using responsibly sourced Hungarian goose down and feathers, with OEKO-TEX, NoMite and RDS certifications.

HYACINT is filled with 90% original Hungarian grey goose down, offering natural softness, flexibility and gentle support. Its natural filling and cotton shell provide qualities that distinguish it from synthetic pillows.
The carefully selected amount of filling creates a supportive, airy and flexible pillow. The fine Hungarian grey goose down is enclosed in a shell made from 100% combed cotton. Its premium TC300 twill-weave fabric is made from 100% combed cotton and features a down-proof construction that helps prevent the filling from escaping.
The pillow is elegantly finished with silver-grey satin piping.
Comfort tailored to your sleeping preferences
HYACINT comes with medium filling firmness as standard, offering a comfortable balance of softness and support. It is particularly suitable for those who prefer a naturally flexible pillow rather than one that feels excessively hard or high.
Pure down filling is especially appealing to those who appreciate a gentle sleeping surface without the prickliness of feather quills.
Smaller pillow sizes may be particularly suitable for older children.
We are happy to produce individually customised pillow sizes, including pillows designed to fit covers you already own. Softer or firmer filling can also be arranged upon special request. Please note that customised orders may require a longer delivery time.
Care and protection
Fleir`s recommends using a breathable pillow protector to help keep the pillow clean and protected. A suitable protector helps reduce everyday moisture and soiling while maintaining airflow, reducing the need for frequent professional specialist cleaning.

What size pillow should I get?
The most common pillow size in the Netherlands is 60x70 cm.
What is the composition of a goose down product?
We can talk about a goose down product if at least 70% of the filling is goose down.
Pure goose down has 100% down in it and nothing else. This is extremely rare though, and is significantly more expensive than products with a down content of 90-95%.
How high is the filling power of goose down?
The filling power of feathers is around 500 cubic inch, while goose down of the highest quality can reach more than 800 cubic inch filling power. It is extremely rare to find a material with higher filling power.
Why are the prices of down-filled duvets and pillows so different?
Many manufacturers and retailers offer down-filled bedding products.
These products are excellent investments, however, are far from cheap, so it is worth paying attention to all the details included in the product descriptions, as a lot of factors affect the prices.
